To "save" Solaire, all you need to do is kill the bugs BEFORE talking to him in lava area. You don't even need to take the shortcut. If he's sitting in the lava area, just ignore him, go kill the bugs, go back and talk to him, he'll move to bugs area, talk to him there and you can summon him in Klin.Is there a way to save Solaire?
