defense of the grove comes after talking to minthara in the goblin camp, so if you've already done that and killed the goblin leaders by siding with the grove then you've sequence broke events and thats why halsin isnt showing up, because when the goblins attack the grove halsin is also killed.Can you raid the grove and keep halsin?
If you raid the grove you will permanently lose both Wyll, Karlach and Halsin and will never be able to do their quest lines to any form of completion. There's ways to get Minthara on a good playthrough and are several threads in the forum on how to get her this way.
