What is considered early pity?
"Early pity" in gacha games (like Genshin Impact) refers to getting a high-rarity item (like a 5-star character) much sooner than the guaranteed "hard pity" limit, often in the lower pull counts like 20-30 pulls, instead of waiting until the 70-90 pull range where "soft pity" kicks in and probabilities skyrocket. It's considered a stroke of good luck when the system rewards you with a sought-after character or item before the increased odds of soft pity even activate, saving wishes. What is considered early pity in Genshin Impact?
"Early pity" in Genshin Impact refers to getting a 5-star character or weapon before the typical "soft pity" range (around wish 75) or even hard pity (wish 90), often around wishes 10-70, which is considered lucky as the odds increase significantly closer to pity, but it's a random chance, not a guarantee, with some players experiencing it often (e.g., 20-30 pity) while others rarely do. Players might "build pity" by wishing on banners they don't need just to hit an early 5-star, hoping to lose the 50/50 and get a guaranteed limited character later, but this risks losing progress on a desired character.Does soft pity start at 75 or 76?
