Nope but you can however join the dark wraiths and not lose frampt. Just ignore him after anor londo kill the 4 kings and talk to kathe. When you get taken to place the lord vessel, don't do it. Safest not to let Frampt take you to the altar at all. Only actually placing the lordvessel will tick off Kaathe, but if you let Frampt take you to the altar, pretty sure you have to Homeward Bone out.
