Not anymore, no. If anything custom ROMs these days seem like a downgrade. There's very few features that they offer that isn't in stock (I've got a Pixel 1, Pixel 4XL and 7Pro) and mostly they make the experience worse I feel. The camera usually is worse, you get random crashes/bugs.
